Service Excellence Training was founded with the purpose of guiding the independent contractor through the darkness of failure and to the light of success. You face an abundance of challenges in today’s market. As an independent, you must compete against the forces of large multi-billion dollar companies who wish to take away your loyal customer base. These large companies have an abundance of resources at their fingertips, and you are seen as an obstacle to be consumed or destroyed. You must protect your clients, employees and company from those who would snatch them in the night. Service Excellence Training can guide you through the darkness and into the light of Profits!

Service Excellence Training was founded by Todd Liles. As a business consultant to residential home-services companies throughout the United States and Canada, Todd honed his sales skills and knowledge of the home-service industry during his achievement-marked tenure at one of the nation’s leading home services organizations.

During his years in high school and college, Todd worked in home construction with Mayfield Construction in southern Mississippi. It was during his time in the construction trades where he learned the value of hard work and skilled labor. Todd applied these values in the contracting trade when he then went to work for Service 1st Inc., a heating and air-conditioning company in Louisiana. There he began as a service technician and earned an array of certifications and licenses (including Solidyne Digital Controls, Carlisle, Danfoss, Leibert certifications and more). He later managed sales and marketing for the company, doubling the business revenue and profits.

After Service 1st Inc., Todd worked as a Trainer for Clockwork Home Services’ Success Academy, where he was later promoted to Training Director. During his tenure, Todd more than doubled the business revenue and trained thousands of technicians, salespeople, CSRs/dispatchers and managers in the home-services industry.

Todd later went on to co-found Drain and Air Rescue, where he grew the business to a $3 million run rate in less than three years—from scratch.

These positions and experiences allow Todd to understand the challenges faced in the field, as well as those experienced by business owners. His experiences are the foundation of Todd’s strategic planning, sales and motivational training for home-services industry.

Todd is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and now resides in Kyle, Texas with his wife of 10 years and his new baby girl, Willa.
